Right?? I mean I know everyone’s body is different, and our fitness journey’s are all different. But it’s still so frustrating sometimes!! We do deserve to be proud of ourselves though! We work hard, and dedication is the most important thing. Just because we aren’t where we want to be right now doesn’t mean we can’t get there in the future! It’s a hard thought to keep in mind, but so true!
Look after your body. You were given this shell to look after. Eat healthy. Go on long walks, speak to nature and smile. Do not waste your only opportunity to live life to the fullest by hating yourself.
why would u eat healthy?????? to live longer ????..??? .all im hearing are two negatives.

OOOH yes, I love getting questions :)
BEST FITNESS TIPS
-variate your workouts to avoid plateauing
-stretch before and after woking out! this will help you avoid injury so you can keep on keepin’ on instead of being held back by avoidable fitness-related injuries
-make sure to do the types of workouts that you love so you stay inspired and have more to look forward to, rather than dreading working out (for example, I hate running, so I do other types of cardio instead, like kickboxing!)
-eat to fuel your heart and your body, Don’t get too bogged down in tracking calories, and know that balance is the key to a happy, healthy life. Eating a cookie or a bowl of ice cream when you want it won’t undo your progress or lead to your failure. Make sure you’re enjoying yourself while on the journey to a happier, healthier you
-Believe in yourself! You can do it. There will be times when you feel like you can’t, but I promise you, you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to :)

FAV QUOTE
-This is SUCH a difficult question, but I would say one of my favorite lyrics (does this count as a quote?) is “I told you to be patient, and I told you to be fine; told to be balanced, and I told you to be kind.” I have this tattooed on my back. It’s a lyric from Bon Iver’s Skinny Love, and it really speaks to me because it reminds me to be patient with myself and others, to treat myself and others with kindness, and to be balanced and strong.
RELATIONSHIP
-Currently not in a relationship (and never have been…lol)
Yay this was really fun. Thanks for asking these :) x
Everyone has a general idea of what their individual fitness goals are and how they plan on getting there. I’ve composed a list of things that people overlook, but that are beneficial for their overall health and their body goals.
1. Rest
Rest is important for 2 reasons: we need to give our body the time to recover and to prevent injuries. Whatever workout you participate in, you have strained muscles, bones and joints. The body needs at least one day to recover from the impact your muscles have taken. The muscles fibers tear, and during the resting phase they recover and are now able to handle more stimulus or bear more endurance. Rest is important for strength and endurance gains.
Without rest your body is more prone to injury because your muscles and tendons are tight and exhausted and this can cause careless and easily preventable injuries.
2. Consistency
The culprit for people who are unable to reach their fitness goals is consistency. Diet inconsistency and inconsistency with meeting workouts is an obstacle for people who get impatient with their progress. Some people will miss a work out or make unhealthy food choices one day and completely drop their program! Everyone makes mistakes during their fitness journey, but it is important to break down your big goal of losing weight/gaining muscle/getting stronger into smaller, easier, and manageable goals.
Make weekly goals, for example: hit the gym AT LEAST 3 times a week, eat less than 4 unhealthy meals/treats per week, etc.
3. Mental Health
It is really important to take care of your mental health. This journey is about creating the best version of yourself. Catch yourself obsessing over your food, having body dysmorphia, or not loving your body at every stage? Talk to yourself. Remind yourself of what your REAL goal is.. not to lose weight, or become skinny or muscular, getting a bigger chest/legs/arms but instead to be a healthy happy version of yourself.
4. Flexibility
It makes me cringe when people don’t stretch before or after a work out. Flexibility is important to get more out of your workout and prevent injury. Stretching allows for a wider range of motion during your workout, such as getting deeper in your squat or extend your stride during a run. Muscles that are stretched and massaged after a workout will prevent lower back pain and other injuries due to tight muscles.
Paying attention to these concepts will help you effectively reach your overall fitness goals. Take care and happy lifting!
And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Including the little voice in your head.
^^ so true!!
Sometimes you have to push yourself, and it can be uncomfortable. You will want to quit. But if you find your edge and embrace the discomfort even for a little bit, you’ll find a new level of fitness, skill, and knowledge. And there’s no better feeling than growth.
#️⃣ABZ. I love that these are easy to work out at home because it means I get to skip the gym and go to bed early tonight🎉💤Sleep is just as important as lifting, eating, and seeing progress! #abday #maintenance #bedtime #fitgirls
